Open Mute – FOSS culture workshop with Jaromil.

15 & 16 November 2005, 10am – 5pm - i-DAT, Plymouth University

A one day workshop for individuals, artists and organisations on open source software and using FOSS.

The workshop will introduce people to the web tools it makes available (Wiki, forum, image gallery, new, RSS news feeds, and more). Participants in the workshop will be able to make their own web site with powerful content tools and learn how these tool can help them; collaborate more easily, engage with their audience or create an online portfolio. The participants will also be introduced to examples of other FOSS users benefiting from using the open source software. The workshops will complete with a public presentation and discussion from Jaromil, an artist/Linux distribution/FOSS advocate.
